Ardagh Diocese covered most of Co. Longford, as well as parts of several other counties. It was this jurisdiction that was responsible for MARRIAGE BONDS, plus TESTAMENTARY BONDS, and WILLS. The records themselves all burned in the Four Courts Fire of 1922, but indexes to them have survived.
